"I reserved a smoking room and when we arrived they sent us up to a non-smoking floor....then i called down to reception and they were kinda rude about it....they then said that they gave all of their smoking rooms away. I fought a bit, cause I WANTED a smoking room, and eventually we got one."

"YES. First of all, I forgot to bring my pre-paid voucher with me, so I had to pay for my room again. I have only just returned home so I haven't started the ball rolling to have my credit card refunded for the second charge. It was of course my fault, but still - the hotel had my confirmation #.. shouldn't they have had SOME record that I'd already paid? So this is a bit of a mess that I hope can be straightened out. The Playstation Games didn't work, the cordless keyboard batteries were dead and the room was WAY too hot, with no window that could be opened and no airconditioning available. Then room service sent up Fruit Loops for breakfast, but they poured the milk on the cereal IN the KITCHEN, so by the time they came up to the room they were soggy. All 3 bowls. Very unfortunate."

"Great place for kids as Sports Complex attached to hotel which is why we always stay at least 1 day while in Edmonton to hit West Edmonton Mall. Front Desk less than helpful. Asked for towels for the complex & the answer was we're out right now."
